An interactive fiction piece by John Elizabeth Stintzi (JES).

HOW TO: Use arrow keys on keyboard, or swipe on mobile to interact/move through the game. Moving your avatar toward things in adjacent tiles will allow you to interact with them (should they be interactive).

Shout out to the community over on the Bitsy Talk Discord server for giving many tips and much tech support.

This was JES's final project for an Interactive Fiction workshop taught by Nat Mesnard.

This game can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 30+ minutes to complete, depending on the player. There are four (sort of 4.5!) different endings built into the game, depending on how the player chooses to interact with the content.

For spoiler-info on how to access those endings, see below!

Possible Endings Walkthrough (spoiler)

Ending 1 (Telling Mom + Walking Rugbee): Access 0 to about 1/2 of the entries on the computer, then move all to trash. There are two variations on this ending, depending which direction you choose to walk Rugbee at the end (north or south).

Ending 2 (Beast Junction Visit): Access a majority, but less than the entirety of the files (I don’t have the exact number on hand), then move them to trash. Upon deletion, you will get an invite to visit your friend Jess’s island on BEAST JUNCTION (accessed via the TV in your bedroom).

Ending 3 + 4 (Ghostly Dreams): Access all of the files in both the DIARY and TAURALIA folders. Upon returning to the screen where you can move to trash, you will be given the option of lying to your mom as well. ENDING 3: You can lie to your mom and don’t delete the files, and it’s late out so you go to bed and have a dream. ENDING 4: You choose to delete the files, as you were told to, and once you do it’s still late out so you go to bed and have a dream.

Thanks! Yes, it is quite Massive. Looking forward to knowing I've got Bitsy in my arsenal for when stories that might fit it pop into my head.
